Looking for a different way to investigate science. Get students researching their topic and using Power Point as a way to present it. Facts, drawings, and results can be incorporated and then presented to the class. Web quests are creative web-based activities based on curriculum that allow students to collect information from pre-selected sites. They require students to think critically and creatively, drawing conclusions from the information collected. Web quests can incorporate as many tasks as desired from one or more of the core subject. They provide students with a safe and quick environment to do effective internet researching. They require teamwork and collaboration and enable students to direct their own learning. Explore some of the web quests below that have been created by teachers who have been involved in the Integration of Technology Program. |
