As the consultant, you will begin by viewing an existing Disneyland
Attraction to get an idea of what the president of
You will have to research the location, climate, landforms, natural
resources, industries and any other interesting information that you discover
about your physical region. This information
will be presented in your brochure.
1. View one of
Disney’s most popular attractions by watching Walt Disney’s 100 Years of
Magic. Notice how themes have been depicted
and how they have been developed in the attractions.

Click on the student worksheet to print a chart to
organize and record the information you gather from your resources on your specific
region.
2. Check the list of
resources to find the information you need to complete your worksheet on your
assigned region. You will need to go to
more than one. Thoroughly read and take notes on your worksheet. You will need to include at least four facts
under each heading. Use the last
resource, which is your textbook, to make sure your information is complete.
3.
Use the chart you
have completed to design a brochure for your region. Click on brochure to find the outline that you
will use to record your information on. You
will need to read your chart notes and organize them into complete sentences
for your brochure. After you have completed
the written part of your brochure, you are ready to begin the graphics.
You must draw at least one graphic and have at least one graphic from
the Internet on your brochure.
4. You are now ready
to design and make a model of your Canadian Region attraction to present to the
