Introduction
Learn about the jobs that people working in the community do!
Task
You are a detective. Your mom/dad disappears many days and goes to some mysterious place. Your job is to find out where they go and what they do. Discover their secret mission in your community? As a detective your job is to interview one parent to find out what their job is in your community.
You will make a power point presentation about what you learned about your parent’s job.
Process
Go to slide one and make a title page. Your title page should have:
- your parent’s job title
- clipart picture
- your name.
Go to slide two and type in the answers to the following interview questions you have asked one of your parents:
1. What is your job title?
2. Where do you work?
3. What are three things you do in your job?
4. Do you need special equipment for your job?
5. How does your job help the people in our community?
Go to slide three and draw picture of your parent at their workplace using paint. Your picture should have your parent in their workplace, showing some of the tools they use.
